Is Your Website a Welcoming Business Front? Why Regular Customer-Eye Checks Are a Must

It sounds simple, right? Knowing what's on your own website. Yet, you'd be shocked at how many businesses, even some of my own clients, are in the dark about their online presence and what is on their own website - they have never bothered to look!
As a business owner, every aspect of your company demands attention, and if you're stretched for time, delegate it! Your website is your 24/7 global storefront, and it needs to shine.
Time constraints often lead to neglecting this crucial task, but the potential cost is significant.
A subpar customer experience can drive away potential business.
Is your website mobile friendly? (this is a BIG one that I come across time and time again)
Is your website truly reflecting your brand's identity?
Are there outdated or unknown pages lurking in the shadows?
Regularly viewing your site through a customer's eyes is essential. Consider mobile-friendliness, ease of navigation, the overall vibe, and the functionality of links and the shopping experience.
Don't forget to check if automations are working, content is current, prices are accurate, buttons are functional, and menu items are operational.
Plus, is your SEO up to date, is the layout clean, and are your brand colours and fonts consistent? And finally, is there too much scrolling?
Website glitches happen, making regular checks a necessary routine.
Rate your website as if you were a customer: How satisfied would you be with the experience?
